With sunset fast approaching, I sped up to Clingman's Dome where I found a very promising sky. Alas, the peak became shrouded by a cloud as soon as I set up my tripod, reducing visibility to nil. I hopped in my Subaru and found this clearing a short way down the road, which provided this window of the clouds catching fire for a few brief moments.
